Off-season training split: Weight training 5-6 days per week, one body part per day using multi-joint, full body exercises with some body part specific exercises. Bootcamp style HIIT cardio 1-2 times per week. Tire flipping, battle ropes, RIP 60 suspension trainer, sledge hammer, skipping rope.

Competition training split: My competition training is more or less the same as off season because I stay lean all year long. I may increase my HIIT cardio to 3 or 4, 25-45 minute sessions per week.

Favorite body parts to train: Legs, when it's over! I just love training, period.

Least favorite body parts to train: I like it all, because I'm constantly trying to find new exercises and training styles to push myself.

Favorite off-season meal: Homemade Chili & Burgers

Favorite dieting meal: Skinless/Boneless Chicken Breast, mixed veggies (lots of peppers) and quinoa.

Favorite Supplements: Goliath Labs Isolate Protein, Precision Mettle BCAAs and Ultimate Nutrition aminos. I've also enjoyed my gains from the Tested Essentials brand L-Citrulline and Agmatine combined with the AllMax Nutrition Creatine.

"When I'm not competing, I like to..."
I spend 2 days a week volunteering my time at my boys' high school running an after school fitness bootcamp. I also run bootcamps Tuesday evenings which are open to the public through FTF Fitness at Brickhouse Gym in Winnipeg Manitoba. When I'm not doing that, you'll probably find me driving one of my 4 children to their many activities!

What's in your gym bag? Skipping rope, MxM t-shirts, shorts, shoes and my post-workout shake in my MxM shaker cup.

What kind of advice do you have for beginners? Stick to the basics when it comes to training and supplementation. It's going to take time, so build yourself a nice, strong base. Big compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, bench press and shoulder presses will go a long way. Be patient and consistent with your training and don't ruin your efforts in the gym by eating crap and cheap, or using subpar supplements. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Never give up!

Why I choose Muscles by Meyers: I choose Muscles by Meyers because I trust their expert advice, they are very helpful, friendly and honest. They'll take the time to answer all of your questions and won't just sell you whatever "hot" product is available that week. And of course, the MxM staff are some of the most knowledgeable and coolest people you will ever meet!
A huge thank you to Muscles by Meyers for believing in me and for the help they've given me as I compete in this outstanding support.

I would also like to thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me the strength and focus to train hard, for the amazing support and encouragement from my wife Jenn, my four kids Bailey, Jordan, Mac & Kennedy and all my friends.
